OMG!!

OMG!! I am sitting here at the bar in the hotel that I am staying at in Sacramento and I kid you not this man just pulled out 30G. Yes that is right,

$30,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a crazy story, but here is the short of it. I am sitting here at the bar enjoying a sparkling wine because my room is not ready tappity tapping on my computer getting some work done well until this man comes over and starts chatting with me. Then buys everyone in the bar a drink (about 20 people) and then starts telling me about all his money and viola pulls out of his pocket 2 - 15K bundles. He just left so he will not see that I am writing about him but I was talking to the bartendar about him and he says he comes in there a lot and buys everyone drinks. No one knows how he made all his money.

Airport Layovers

A two hour layover in an airport is killer. I am on my way to Sacramento, CA for work (and then wine country for non-work!!). I have 2 hours to kill here here at SFO. So what am I doing to kill time? Well besides writing this, I just bought a Swatch watch (my first ever!) because I was bored and I forgot my watch at home. Check it out

Tip Your Housekeepers!

I was getting ready to go out last night and couldn't find my jewelry. Hmmmm I know I packed it in my suitcase when I left New Orleans....didn't I???  

I remember putting it on the bed next to my suitcase but I don't remember actually putting it into my suitcase.....

Well on a whim I called the hotel and asked them to check the lost and found for my jewelry. They had it!!!

Not one piece was missing.  I am convinced my jewelry wasn't pocketed because I tipped my housekeeper!!

Airport Stories

I am traveling to Seattle today (via Denver) and man people in airports are weird. People get so antsy waiting for their flights to begin boarding. Why must they stand and hover around the gate in anticipation of boarding. Do they think they will not hear the announcement unless they are right on top of the person taking boarding passes? Are they afraid the plane will leave without them?

OK-I am on the plane. I have a window seat and there is someone in the aisle seat but the middle seat is empty. I have carried on one small bag (big enough to hold a laptop and a daytimer) and a jacket. I stick my bag under the seat in front of me roll up my jacket to stick it under the middle seat and the woman in the aisle seat just stuck her foot under the middle seat like she needs to save room for herself. I ignored her and put my jacket under there anyways. Craziness!!

Another update on 15C (aka crazy woman in the aisle seat), the flight attendants came through with the beverage cart and she is watching the movie so has her headset on (completely fine), however, she yells at flight attendant that she wants a decaf coffee. Um, take the headset off and tell them what you want I am sure you will not miss anything earth shattering in Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. Oh and to mess with her, I put the tray from the middle seat down and put my drink on it. Ah hahahahahahaha.
